We have the honor to invite you at the 5th edition of the Interdisciplinary Congress of Emergency Medicine, which will take place in the old medieval fort, Castrum Clus, in the well known university center in the heart of Transylvania, known because of the prestige of the medical school, both in the country and abroad.
Scientific and technological development provides an increasingly obvious opportunity for interinstitutional collaboration that allows “good integrated medical practices” and the implementations of new “evidence-based” strategies to effectively assist medical-surgical emergencies. This involves the implication of specialists in medical and related fields to work together under the same concept, thus combining medical, paramedical, aviation, technology of information, search tactics, rescue, communication and psychological assistance within a complex structure such as the Department for Emergency Situations.
Strenghtening institutional relations, is, however, only a first step we can take in our approach to deliver integrated solutions to emergencies. The sharing of medical information and the promotion of effective interventions by experts from Romania and from abroad, but especially the training and improvement of the medical practices of the specialists in the field are the main objectives that we have planned for this congress edition. Continuing tradition in collaborating with the European Society of Emergency Medicine by organizing sessions with EuSEM experts offers participants the connection to the latest concepts of emergency medicine practice.
We are looking forward to attending the events that we have prepared: interdisciplinary scientific sessions, round tables, interactive workshops, case presentations, symposiums and demonstrative sessions, all addressed to emergency care staff: specialists, resident doctors, nurses, students, paramedics and patients.
The old citadel of science in the heart of Transylvania is waiting for you.
